Lucie has recently grown out of her Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Infant Carrier car seat.
We decided to replace her seat with the EvenFlo Symphony 65 e3 All-in-One Convertible Carseat.
So far, I love the carseat. It was easy to install, it is very soft and cushiony for Lucie, and appears very comfortable. It is rated for rear facing up to 40 lbs. or 46 inches tall. It is rated for forward facing up to 65 lbs., 46 inches tall or 100 lbs. with removable harness with the shoulder and lap belt as a booster seat. I should not have to buy another car seat or need a booster seat for Lucie as long as I don't get into any car accidents with this one.
Amazon.com has some excellent reviews, one of which was written by a woman whose child was in this seat during a fatal car accident. There was not much left of the car, but this child seat and the child in it, who survived the crash, where the car flipped over. That was reason enough for me to believe that this carseat would perform well in an accident, and take care of its intended purpose.
