Lucie's Smile

When the fireworks started, Lucie smiled. Lucie's face lit up as she watched the explosions of color in the sky. I didn't watch the fireworks yesterday. I watched my daughter smile. She blew me kisses, and fell asleep in my arms. Everything is going to be okay. Tomorrow would be a brand new day. Tomorrow became today. I am okay. I will get through anything that comes my way.
