Lucie's first tooth cut through last week. It was anticlimactic, and nothing as dramatic as I was expecting after all of the fussing for the two months prior. There was quite a bit of drool the evening it happened. She went to bed around 7:30, and she'd bit me prior to going to bed, and there was no tooth. She woke up at 2:30 the next morning for a bottle, and she bit me. It was then that I felt the sharp edge of the tooth. I jumped and said, "OWWWW!!!" Lucie giggled. Then, she started rubbing her tooth with her pointer finger, exploring the change that had occurred.
She also learned how to hold her own bottle, which is the cutest thing I've ever seen!
