We spent this week in South Carolina, looking at the area, putting in an application for an apartment in West Columbia, seeing a townhouse that was for sale, and speaking with Schumacher Homes, a home builder in the area.
We have decided to rent for one year, decide where we want to hang our hats permanently, and then, we will probably buy a parcel of land to have our dream home built.
During our trip, we also visited the Columbia Zoo, watched a holiday parade in Charleston, and went shopping at the Charleston Tanger Outlets, where we spent some time picking out some sparkly gifts for our relatives. Here are some photo highlights:
